downtime

For the past two days, our cable was out. It just came back up this afternoon.

You see, when our cable service goes out, that includes our internet as well as our television. When the cable goes out on the TV, the screen simply freezes on what it was playing at the time and displays an error message in the center of the screen. When I turned on the TV to discover that the cable was indeed out, I literally laughed out loud at how perfect the screen was for such an event.
